Nike Roshe Run Donna figured out the recipe for dope summer shoes, and it wasn’t even that tricky — woven construction. Now, the concept appears set to proliferate the brand’s summer collection, as perfectly exemplified by the forthcoming Nike Roshe Run KJCRD Cool Grey.

Everyone’s favorite excessively comfortable lifestyle model comes even breezier and colorfully easier, as the Roshe’s signature upper is infused with a woven jacquard build. That’s executed in a visually-shifting white-and-grey effect that keeps things neutral yet somehow ornate, while crisp solid white complements on the eyestay, Swoosh and sole.

Nike Roshe Run Donna Initially received with some trepidation from fans of the original model, the Nike Air Max 90 Sneakerboot Winter has becomes something of an annual tradition; a fixture come the cold winter months. Along the lines of, say, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation airing on TV. Or that one Christmas-themed Groundhog Dayknockoff with Mark-Paul Gosselaar.

Nike Air Force Donna Well, in 2015 it’ll return once more, and in at least three new colorways. The sleek, weatherproofed hightop will come correct in black or olive leather or tan suede, each shoe also sporting an aggressive traction pattern on the outsole, a boot-like hightop build, and rope laces.

The Swoosh has its latest minimalist lifestyle and, man, this’ll work. Today, get your eyeful of the Nike Roshe Run Donna HyperFresh, in an ostensibly paradisaical pack.

 

There’ve been some rumblings that this is a lifestyle remix of the Hyperdunk 2015 — thinkKD7 Lifestyle vs the on-court KD7 — and that’s not at all difficult to imagine (although the official “HyperFr35h” title does call to mind Kevin Durant). Note the distinct, seemingly one-piece sole unit with the extra-thick heel for one, a hallmark of the Hyperdunk 2015. The silhouette seems a match as well, albeit a bit lower.

But the tech is utterly and thankfully stripped down. The performance bells and whistles are gone, replaced with a simple, breathable textile upper, and even the sole unit, while sharing a shape with its basketball brethren, is more Roshe or Eclipse than court-ready. Whatever the inspiration, we’ll take the Nike Air Force Donna HyperFresh and its tropical motif, and we’ll take it soon, please.

The shoe — stylized as the HyperFr35h, but is anyone going to actually type that into Google? — has no release date on the books yet, so stay tuned. Dig the new addition to the ever-expanding minimalist lifestyle niche?

Back to basics for one of the Swoosh’s true icons. NikeLab has gotten their hands on the beloved Vandal High and is bringing their unique brand of premium reinvention to the early-80s basketball footwear legend.
